Many of the synagogues and organizations in the area organize special events in the
community to help the sick, poor, elderly, or anyone in need.
Some of these events are take place on a specific date, while others are ongoing throughout the year.

| Sunday, June 3 2007 | Congregation Shalom Mitzvah Day. Activities will include: Outreach to Elders,
Childrens Craft and Music Projects, Fundraising for Local Service Organizations,
Red Cross Blood Drive, Assisting Local Homeless Families, Community Clean-ups, and more.

| Breast Cancer Awareness | Acton Concord Area Hadassah Check it Out Program.
This program serves juniors and seniors in high school with breast cancer and testicular cancer awareness.

| Concord Park Seniors | On the First Firday of every month, Kerem Shalom volunteers lead the Shabbat services.
